Your family session is designed to feel calm, relaxed and true to the season you are in. There is no pressure for children to sit still or smile on cue. We keep things playful and natural so your little ones can just be themselves.Whether we are outdoors in one of my favourite Fareham locations or keeping things cosy at home, the aim is simple: bright, natural images filled with connection.
Your experience
From the moment we start, your children set the pace. We explore, play and follow their lead, keeping things relaxed and enjoyable. I’ll guide you when needed, but nothing is forced. You can choose one of my favourite outdoor spots or a location that feels meaningful to you. Wherever we shoot, the focus is on genuine connection and a session that feels like time together.

Each Family Session includes:
- Pre-shoot questionnaire guidance
- A relaxed photoshoot at home or outdoors around Fareham
- Professionally edited images
- A private online gallery to choose your favourites
- A set number of downloads depending on your package
- The option to purchase additional images or upgrade your package
- Personal‑use licence for printing and sharing

All sessions require a non-refundable £50 deposit at the time of booking. This amount is included in the package prices listed above.
Had a wonderful experience with Karen doing a family photoshoot, so relaxed we just had loads of fun with our toddler running around the woods and she managed to capture incredibly beautiful photographs which we will treasure, highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for family photos, you won’t be disappointed!

FAQs
That’s completely okay, and very normal. My sessions are child-led and relaxed, with plenty of movement, play and interaction. Some of the best images come from those in-between moments.
Neutral tones, soft textures and comfortable clothing always photograph beautifully. You’ll receive guidance before your session, and you’re welcome to send outfit photos if you’d like help choosing.
Absolutely. Sessions can take place outdoors or at home in the Fareham area. If you’d like suggestions, I’m always happy to recommend locations that suit the season and lighting.
If the weather isn’t suitable for an outdoor session, we can reschedule or switch to an indoor session where possible.
